Daily Press Conference and Media Briefing

Project Overview/Background:

Press Conferences are a time for members of the media to have access to prominent political and industry leaders. Most often you might see a press conference in which the President of the United States or his Press Secretary takes questions from reporters.

Such media briefings are important as they allow questions to be asked that otherwise might go unanswered due to various time constraints and schedule conflicts.

In the Boys State world, there is a daily Press Conference/Media Briefing.

On Monday through Thursday, it will take place at 2 p.m.

On Friday, it will take place at 10 a.m.

There will not be a Press Conference & Media Briefing on Sunday or Saturday.

All Press Conference & Media Briefing events will be located at the outdoor stage, and each session will last 30 minutes.

Your Task/Requirements:

Select an individual or individuals you need to interview. Inform them of the meeting. Develop thoughtful, insightful, important questions. Following the Press Conference & Media Briefing, produce a report that encapsulates the topics of discussion.
