Debate

Project Overview/Background:

Debates are the best way for voters to learn about a candidate. It removes the ability of the candidate to hide behind soundbites and political ads. During a debate, the candidate can do nothing but answer the question asked of him, and immediately his opponent can counter any claims made, which allows for the truth to be ferreted out unlike in other forms of campaigning.

On the 3rd day of State, a debate is held. Questions must be prepared, and the debate must be moderated. This is the best opportunity for all Staters to become acquainted with the candidates. Therefore, the questions asked are very important.

In the real world, debates are often moderated by the media. This is also the case at KS Boys State.

Your Task/Requirements:

Prepare questions for the debate. A panel of media representatives will be asking the questions, so you must decide who will be doing this. Then you must moderate the debate.
